Method and device for self-calibration of contact temperature indicators relate to measuring engineering and can be used in metallurgical production, in nuclear power engineering, by-product coking industry and oil processing area of industry. By the method one places in calibrator primary indicator that is calibrated with restoration of given temperature by means of melting reference metals, at coming to state of thermal equilibrium between the primary indicator and reference metal one transforms with indicator heat effect to electric signal by parameters of which one determines characteristics of indicator by means of measuring device. Measurement of electric signals of primary indicator is performed at stationary temperature mode with temperature values lower than temperatures of phase transitions of reference metals, one determines average value of measured value of thermal electromotive force of resistance of indicator in two temperature points of reference metals. By means of interpolation equation one determines individual static characteristic of transformation of given initial indicator and by means of that one temperature dependence of thermo-electromotive force or resistance of indicator at measurement of temperature of controlled medium are determined. Device consists of calibrator that has body in which small crucible with reference metal is placed, heating element installed on surface of crucible and thermometric channel, and primary indicator that is calibrated mounted to thermometric channel of calibrator. Additionally to calibrator crucible with another reference metal is included. Body of calibrator is made of metal, and crucibles are made of such material like monocrystallic aluminum oxide, thus sapphire, of boron nitride. Heating element is arranged as heating cable placed between the body and crucible in magnesium oxide that fills space between the body and heating cable. The method and the device provide increase of accuracy of self-calibration of indicators and reliability of measurement of temperature of technological process in given temperature interval with such indicators. |
