FIELD: metallurgy industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: mixture used for filling the outlet passage of steel-pouring ladle includes as follows, wt %: lode quartz - 96-99, flake graphite - 1-4, and sulfite waste liquor (more than 100%) - 0.2-0.4. Addition of sulfite waste liquor to the mixture provides for complete graphite coating of lode quartz grains, which reduces mixture sintering at high temperature, and ensures the required flowability of mixture and its complete discharge from steel-tapping passage. ^ EFFECT: improving capacity of pouring unit, and stabilising metal flow. ^ 1 ex, 1 tbl |
