FIELD: mining. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to process of driving in sedimentary rock by means of subjecting destructed medium to effect of energy of working agent jets: gas, steam-gas, gas-fluid, or combined; it can be implemented for driving courses for various processing procedures. Process of driving courses consists in rock destruction at a face by means of subjecting drilled medium to effect of energy of working agent in form of jets flowing under pressure from the cavity of a working body of a drilling device. Contact angles of working agent jets with surface of destructed rock at the face and with walls of course directly at the face against the axis of a driven face and a plane of radial section of its bore are chosen within limits from 10° to 60° relative to the surface of the face, from 0° to 90° relative to the axis in the direction to the brow of the course, from 0° to 45° to the surface of the wall of the driven course bore in he plane of its radial section. When driving unstable and water-saturated horizons, a channel is formed along the axis of the course for evacuation of drill cuttings to the brow of the course; the channel has a form of elastically yielding ring filled with fluid, specific weight of which exceeds specific weight of fluid coming between the elastically yielding ring and the wall of the course. The drilling device is connected with the elastically yielding ring by means of rods. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency of course driving process. ^ 3 cl, 8 dwg |
