The invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to a method for inducing estrus in the cows and the heifers. The method comprises the intramuscular administration of Cloprostenol at a dose of 250 μg per cow in combination with 25 mg of 1-isopropylamino-3(1-naphtyloxy)-2-propanol hydrochloride according to the following regimen: the first injection is performed to the internal iliac artery (according to the technique proposed by I.P. Lipovtsev), the second injection is performed 10 days later to the paravaginal loose fat at the depth of 4-6 cm.
