The invention relates to novel compounds in the form of arabinogalactans of formula AF-C(O)-R, where R is selected from a group consisting of OH or NHR1, and R1 is selected from a group containing C6H4OH, C6H4COOH, C6H3(OH)COOH, C6H4COOC2H5, C5H4COO(CH2)2N(C2H5)2, C5H4NCONH, C9H11ON2, C6H4SO2NH2, C6H4SO2N(Na)COCH3, CH2CH2SO3H, CH2COOH, CH(COOH)(CH2)4NH2 etc, and to a method for producing modified arabinogalactans by oxydising the primary hydroxy groups thereof by a 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidine-oxil (TEMPO) -NaBr-NaClO-system in an aqueous medium ( pH 9-10.5, 0-20°C) to carboxylic groups and by conjugating the hydroxy groups of oxidised arabinogalactan with amines in the presence of a condensing reagent 1-ethyk-3-[3-(dimethyl amino) propyl] carbodiimide at a room temperature and pH ranging from 4.7 to 4.8 in such a way that target AG-CONHR1 amides are obtained. A number of pharmacologically significant amines: p- and o- aminophenols, 5- and 4-aminosalicylic, anthranilic and p-aminobenzoic acids (anesthesine), ß-diethylaminoethyl alcohol, p-aminobenzoic acid ethyl ester (novocaine), (1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-4-aminopyrazolon-5(4-aminoantipyrine), isonicotinic acid hydrazide (isoniazid), 2-aminoethane sulphonic acid (taurine), sulphanylamide preparations (p-aminobenzolsulphamide (streptocide), p-aminobenzole sulphacetamid sodium) and also natural a-aminoacids (glycine, lysine etc), diamines (hydrazine, ethyldiamine) and dihydrazides (adypin acid dihydazide) are used as amines. The inventive modified arabinogalactans can be used in medicine, pharmacology and in the food, building, cellulose-and-paper industries in the form of surface-active agents. |
