FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: screw for wood and plastic has a head, an almost cylindrical body, a tip and thread running along the body to the tip including the tip zone. The thread has a working surface on the tip side and on the head side. The angle of the working surface on the head side is wider than the one on the tip side. The angle of the working surface on the tip side remains approximately the same in the body zone as well as in the tip zone, whereas the angle of the working surface on the head side in the tip zone is wider than in the body zone.
