#CMT# #/CMT# The box (3) has continuous optical guides (31a-31c), and distributed optical guides (31d) interrupted in a manner to form a distribution point of an optical fiber transmission line, where the guides are formed of optical fibers. Multifiber push on type male and female connectors (32a, 32b) have connection zones (4d, 40d) connected to the guides (31d, 31c), respectively, where the zone (40d) is connected to the guides (31c). The connectors have another connection zones (4a, 40a) that are connected to the guides (31a, 31d), respectively, where the zone (40a) is connected to the guides (31d). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Box for distributing an optical fiber of a transmission line of a communication infrastructure i.e. local computing communication infrastructure, that functions under an Ethernetprotocol or asynchronous transfer mode (ATM)protocol or token ringprotocol, and is installed in a room of a building, for transferring data (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The configuration of the box permits to guarantee optimal quality of service to a user, to eliminate the need of pulling numerous optical cables between a bus topology and active secondary equipments, to reduce optical loss and to conserve an optical budget. The configuration of the box permits to install and construct a local computing communication infrastructure having ring and daisy chain topologies, in an easy manner and with better modularity. The box can be installed in the infrastructure without constraints. The arrangement of the connectors permits to ensure compact box and to reduce cost of connection between the box and a transporting cable. The box is robust and has improved performance.
