The food product e.g. omelette stick (1) comprises a square shaped omelette plate that is helicoidally rolled around a central axis parallel to sides of the plate to form a stick, and a filling product disposed at the center of the stick. The plate has a thickness of 4+- 1 mm. The stick has a maximum diameter of less than 4 cm. An independent claim is included for a process for industrial making of a food product.
