The present invention relates to the use of at least one adsorptive or absorptive agent for the manufacture of a medicament for treating a subject for a condition or inflammation associated with oedema, excess body fluids or both oedema and excess body fluids. The medicament is for application to the skin surface of a body part or region of the subject affected by the condition or inflammation, and the medicament is capable of transdermally attracting fluids from said body part or region or its proximity. The present invention also relates to compositions for absorbing or adsorbing fluids from a body part or region of a subject, and which are capable of transdermally attracting fluids from body parts or regions or their proximity. |
