摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The correlation laws that all multiplets of characteristics function values have to meet corresponding multiplets of charged fragments, are determined from characteristics function values at maxima of primary mass peaks and from the charge values associated to peaks. The real multiplets of charged fragments corresponding to the parent primary ions are determined by identifying the multiplets meeting a proximity criterion in relation to correlation laws from the potential multiplets. A dissociation mass spectra is generated corresponding to the parent primary ions. #CMT# : #/CMT# Independent claims are included for the following: (1) tandem mass spectrometer; and (2) tandem mass spectrometry program. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Tandem mass spectrometry used in tandem mass spectrometer such as tandem time-of-flight mass spectrometer, magnetic sensor spectrometer, quadrupolar mass spectrometer, three dimensional (3D) ion traps, two-dimensional (2D) ion traps and Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FT-ICR) spectrometer. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The dissociation spectra for different primary masses present in a sample to be analyzed and for multicharged primary ions parent primary ions being dissociated at low or high kinetic energy can be produced simultaneously without primary mass selection. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The figure shows a flow chart illustrating the steps of the tandem mass spectrometry process.
