#CMT# #/CMT# The unit (1) has an optical unit (6) movable in translation along a longitudinal direction of a vehicle relative to a rigid front face (4) between a re-entered utilization position and an advanced shifted position towards the front of the vehicle relative to the re-entered position. Longitudinal orientation connection units (18) slidingly connect the unit (6) to the face, and have a stopper defining the advanced position of the unit (6). The units (18) have a mobile internal support element (24) connected to the unit (6), and a fixed cleat (26) connected to the face. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Front unit for being implanted in a front part of a motor vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The longitudinal orientation connection units slidingly connect the optical unit to the front face, and have the stopper defining the advanced shifted position of the optical unit, thus permitting the front unit to be ergonomic, and simplifying placement of the optical unit till the advanced position of the optical unit for easily changing bulbs of the optical unit. The longitudinal orientation connection units are simple and economical. The configuration of the front unit effectively guides translation of the optical unit, and prevents pivoting risks of the optical unit around a transversal axis when the optical unit occupies the advanced position.
