FIELD: transportation. ^ SUBSTANCE: cardan drive contains two yoke flanges, three or more variable velocity joints joints, change-length gear, intermediate bearing with vibration absorber. Vibration absorber is wrapped by collars of mating shell in which cartridge type bearing and additional mud bafflers are installed. Shell collars at the same time serves as base surfaces during dynamic balancing of cardan drive. ^ EFFECT: improvement of in-service cardan drive reliability. ^ 4 dwg
