PLASMA SPRAYING INSTALLATION

FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: installation is referred to plasma spraying of coverage from powder materials on working surfaces of various articles for giving special properties to these surfaces. The cathode and the anode having a viahole, symmetric against case axis are placed in the casing. The basic source of electric power supply is connected to the cathode and the anode. The plasma-supporting gas feeding system is executed in the form of the holes located round the cathode in a header of the cathode. The feeding system of sprayed powder material is also executed in the form of holes and located in a nozzle wall. The nozzle is established sequentially with the anode and a washer from a heat resisting material with formation of the cylindrical channel of plasma transportation to the feeding system of sprayed powder material. The nozzle is linked with the anode of an additional source of the electric power supply; its cathode is intended for connection with sprayed surface. ^ EFFECT: improvement of sprayed coverage quality and powder material loss enhancement. ^ 1 dwg
