The device has a base (15) on which a battery of a motor vehicle rests, and a clamping plate (16) supporting on the battery to maintain it in position in the base. The plate has two fixing ends (17, 18), where the end (17) is integrated to the base by a lock mechanism. The end (18) is drilled with a hole (24), and is integrated to the base by a screw (23) traversing the hole and screwed in the base. A notch (27) opens on a lower edge of the end (17) and is engaged on a lower edge of an opening (25) of the base. Two tongues (38, 39) are situated near the ends (17, 18) respectively. |
