PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device using an operating signal received while starting a receiver for control, without depending on the types of receivers. SOLUTION: The remote control device is provided with an operating-signal storage means 14a for storing operating signals, an elapsed-time determination means 13, which measures an elapsed time from when a power-on signal is received so as to determine whether the measured elapsed time reaches a predetermined standby time; an operating-signal accumulation control means 12a, which controls the operating-signal storage means 14a to successively store operating signals received in a period from when the power-on signal is received, to when it is determined by the elapsed-time determination means 13 that the elapsed time has reached the standby time; and a signal control means 12b that reads the operating signals stored in the operating-signal storage means 14a, after the elapsed-time determination means 13 determines that the elapsed time reaches the standby time so as to successively transmit them to a receiver 2.
