PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely monitor internal transmission in a digital protection relay. SOLUTION: The monitoring system 1 is a monitoring system for the digital protection relay performing internal transmission among a plurality of CPU boards 2a, 2b and 2c. The CPU boards 2a, 2b and 2c include a Telnet server 21 that is a remote control server and a monitor function 21. A monitor terminal 4 using a Telnet protocol as a remote operation standard protocol is connected to the CPU boards 2a, 2b and 2c through a local area network 3. The monitor terminal 4 activates a Telnet client that is a remote control client to monitor the internal transmission among the CPU boards 2a, 2b and 2c.
