PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle analyzer capable of determining precisely whether a measured signal is a particle signal, without complicating a process. SOLUTION: A blood analyzer 1 is equipped with an FSC amplified waveform processing circuit 532, having an intermediate amplification factor for outputting a waveform signal acquired, by amplifying an electric signal outputted from a photodiode 406 with an amplification factor G1; an FSC amplified waveform processing circuit 542, having a high amplification factor for outputting a waveform signal acquired by amplifying the electrical signal outputted from the photodiode 406, with an amplification factor G2 which is different from the amplification factor G1; an operation part 651 for acquiring a peak value PB1 that shows particle characteristics, based on the waveform signal amplified with the amplification factor G1, and acquiring a peak value PC1 that shows particle characteristics, based on the waveform signal amplified with the amplification factor G2; and a control part 301 for determining whether the peak value PB1 and the peak value PC1 have a prescribed relation, and for acquiring analysis result.
