PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a window frame for a watch that can prevent distortion or damage of a display plate made of plastics and increase the high-class feeling. SOLUTION: The display plate 6 is made of plastics, and the window frame 8 is made of metal. A protective plate 7 is disposed on the back side of the display plate 6. The window frame 8 has an edge section 8a engaging with the surface of the display plate 6, a foot section 8b inserted into a window hole 6a, and a projection 8c engaging with the back surface of the protective plate 7. When the foot section 8b is inserted into the window hole 6a and the projection 8c is passed to the back surface side of the protective plate 7, the projection 8c engages with the back surface of the protective plate 7. Thus, the display plate 6 and the protective plate 7 are sandwiched between the edge section 8a and projection 8c of the window frame 8. When the display plate 6 and the protective plate 7 are sandwiched in such manner, the window frame 8 can be mounted without charging undue load on the display plate 6. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
