PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tight frame reinforcing metal piece capable of performing reinforcement by flexibly accommodating a tight frame of an existing folded-plate roof. SOLUTION: The tight frame reinforcing metal piece A for reinforcing the tight frame 3 used in the folded-plate roof comprises a first male screw member 6 having a male thread on the outer peripheral surface, a second male screw member 7 having a reverse male thread to the first male screw member 6 on the outer peripheral surface, and a nut member 8. The upper end side of the first male screw member 6 is screwed to the lower end side of the nut member 8 and the lower end side of the second male screw member 7 is screwed to the upper end side of it. The nut member 8 vertically and integrally connects the first male screw member 6 to the second male screw member 7 so that these members may be arranged to have the same axis line O1. The lower end side of the first male screw member 6 is connected and fixed to an underlayer 1a to which the lower end side of the tight frame 3 is fixed to be supported. The tight frame reinforcing metal piece A is used in a state that it is interposed between the underlayer 1a and the upper end part 3d of the tight frame 3 arranged above the underlayer 1a.
