PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Western-style water closet which effectively utilizes a storage space in the rear of a toilet bowl, and which can properly supply flushing water to the toilet bowl. SOLUTION: This Western-style water closet comprises a water closet body 1 which makes a toilet-bowl water discharge channel 5 communicate with the downstream side of a water seal section 4, and a water supply device 100 which is provided in the water closet body 1, the water supply port 110 of which is connected to a water supply pipe 10 supplied with the flushing water from the outside and which ejects the flushing water to the toilet bowl 2 from a spout 195. The water supply device 100, the water supply port 110, and the spout 195 are arranged in the rear of the toilet bowl 2 and on either of the right and left sides of the water closet body 1.
