PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting tool, and a use method thereof, suitable for a place where a sufficient lifting margin cannot be expected. SOLUTION: The lifting tool is provided with a frame 2 in such a shape as to surround a hook 1 of a crane, having a shaft with which the hook 1 can be engaged, beams 3 extended in four directions straight horizontally from the frame 2, and wire ropes 4 respectively hanging down from the tips of the beams 3. The beam 3 is shaped in such a way that the tip of the beam 3 protrudes outward of a side surface of a vertical tank 6 as the frame 2 is positioned right above the vertical tank 6 by the crane, and a lower end of each wire rope 4 is connected to an eye plate 11 provided on the vertical tank 6. An arm 15 is provided to protrude from the tip of the beam 3, and an interference preventing means 18 to draw the wire rope 4 is attached to the tip of the arm 15. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
