The chemical indicator-electrode has glass diaphragm, which generates an insulated substrate (1) and a multi-component solid material discharge system placed below the glass diaphragm, based on an ion selective thick film technology. The discharge system consists of an electronically conductive layer as noble metal electrode (2) in connection with a path (3) made of same material and a semiconductive metal oxide layer (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a chemical indicator-electrode, which involves forming a metal oxide layer on the precious metal electrode.
