The container i.e. beer glass (1) has a standing surface and a recess (7) provided in a base wall or a side wall. A housing is made of plastic e.g. polymethyl-methacrylate, and is glued with an elastic adhesive (4) in the recess in a side. The adhesive is suitable for bonding the plastic and glass. The housing is freely movable on another side. A cover (3) on a base body (2) of the housing is made of thermoplastic elastomer. The base body accommodates an article such as electronics (5), for a special effect. Switches arranged on the electronics are operated by pressing the cover.
