IMGE DISPLAY RENEWAL METHOD, SERVER CLIENT SYSTEM AND DRAWING OPERATION ECHO BACK SCRIPT

In the case where a writing brush with a density expression carries out drawing by making use of a WEB browser, the echo back speed is made higher. A drawing operation subject image and an image processing program are prepared at an HTTP server (12). A terminal device (10) accesses the HTTP server (12) and downloads the drawing operation subject image. When an operator carries out the drawing operation on a WEB browser screen of the terminal device (10), cursor coordinate position information and drawing radius information is sent to the HTTP server (12) by an XMLHTTP request and image processing is carried out in the HTTP server (12). The WEB browser virtually divides the drawing operation subject image into a plurality of rectangles (cells), calculates a cell in which image contents have been changed in the image processing, and issues an HTTP request for demanding an image of the cell. The HTTP server (12) cuts out and sends the processed image in the requested region. The WEB browser receives the cell image, disposes it at the corresponding region, and renews the display.
