<p>An OLED device and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce power consumption by supplying a suitable driving voltage according to ambient temperature. An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Display) device includes an OLED panel(160), a temperature detecting unit(170), a driving voltage determining unit(180), and a DC/DC converter(120). The temperature detecting unit measures temperature of the OLED panel. The driving voltage determining unit calculates a driving voltage of the OLED panel based on the temperature detected through the temperature detecting unit and outputs voltage data based on the calculation. The DC/DC converter, including a variable resistance determiner to determine a variable resistance based on the voltage data outputted from the driving voltage determining unit, supplies a driving voltage corresponding to the variable resistance to the OLED panel.</p> |
