PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying container for electron beam sterilization to perform an appropriate electron beam sterilizations irrespective of conditions such as a density distribution of an object to irradiated, and to provide a method for electron beam sterilization.

SOLUTION: The carrying container 1 for electron beam sterilizations stores the object to be irradiated scheduled to be sterilized by an electron beam irradiation and is irradiated with an electron beam, has a storage portion 3 in which the irradiated object is arranged, scattering plates 14A and 14B arranged between the irradiated object arranged in the storage portion 3 and an electron beam irradiation section 24 and covering the irradiated objects and its surroundings. The direction intersecting the electron beam irradiation direction at right angles is opened to the irradiated object between the storage section 3 and the scattering plates 14A and 14B.
