<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of simultaneously performing hot water supply operation and defrosting operation. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump water heater has a refrigerating cycle 2 of successively connecting a compressor 4, a radiator 5, a decompressor 6 and an air-refrigerant heat exchanger 7 (hereinafter referred to as "an air-cooled heat exchanger 7"), a hot water storage tank 11 storing hot water heated by a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 10 exchanging heat with the radiator 5, a first bypass circuit 38 connecting between the decompressor 6 and the radiator 5 and between the compressor 4 and the air-cooled heat exchanger 7 via a heat storable refrigerant heating system 35 storing heat of the hot water storage tank 11, and a second bypass circuit 41 connecting between the compressor 4 and the radiator 5 and between the decompressor 6 and the air-cooled heat exchanger 7. When defrosting the air-cooled heat exchanger 7, a refrigerant is passed through the air-cooled heat exchanger 7 by opening a second two-way valve 42 arranged in the second bypass circuit 41, and the refrigerant heated by the heat storable refrigerant heating system 35 is made to flow to the suction side of the compressor 4 by opening a first two-way valve 39 arranged in the first bypass passage 38, and the defrosting operation can be performed thereby while performing the hot water supply operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
