SHORT RANGE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION ANTENNA AND MOBILE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a short range wireless communication antenna enabling easy switching a mode in which communication can be performed with a low directivity in a wide coverage with a mode in which the directivity in a communication direction is enhanced to increase reception sensitivity according to situations.

SOLUTION: The short range wireless communication antenna includes: a ferrite antenna 21 including a primary antenna coil wound on a ferrite core; a loop coil 22 provided in a position where components of a magnetic flux generated by the ferrite antenna 21 on a non-communication direction side interlink; and a loop coil switching means 24 for switching between a mode for forming a loop of the loop coil 22 with a mode for disconnecting the loop.
