<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cement effectively reutilizing waste materials including asbestos and calcium by detoxification treatment thereof, particularly by using the detoxification-treated waste materials including asbestos and calcium as resources of gypsum by preventing asbestos dust or the like from scattering or diffusing. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing cement comprises impregnating the waste materials including asbestos and calcium with an aqueous alkali solution to render the asbestos included in the waste material converted into non-asbestos state, then neutralizing the residual alkali in the waste material converted into non-asbestos state with sulfuric acid and at the same time reacting the included calcium with the sulfuric acid to produce gypsum, and compounding the detoxification-treated matter as gypsum resources on production of cement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
