<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure and a connection method for a superconducting cable, wherein excessive current can be prevented from flowing, even if a short-circuit current flows. <P>SOLUTION: The connecting structure of the superconducting cable is a connection structure between a first superconductive cable 10 and a second conducting cable 20. The former 101 and a first superconducting layer 103 in the first superconducting cable 10, and the former 201 and a first conducting layer 203 in the second superconducting cable 20 are electrically connected to each other, respectively. The first superconducting layer 103 in the first superconducting cable 10 and the first conducting layer 203 in the second superconducting cable 20 are different in resistance in a normal conducting state. At least either the first superconductive layers 103, 203 of the first or the second superconducting cables 10, 20 is connected, to at least either of the formers 101, 201 of the first and second superconductive cables 10, 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
