PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Western-style water closet which dispenses with an installation space except a water closet body, and which can put the periphery of the water closet body in a toilet room in a neat state. SOLUTION: This Western-style water closet comprises the water closet body 1 in which a storage space 1S surrounded by an outer peripheral wall 1W is formed in the rear of a toilet bowl 2 and which makes a water-closet discharge channel 5 communicate with the downstream side of a water seal section 4, and a water supply device 100 which has a water supply channel communicating with a water supply pipe 10 supplied with flushing water from the outside and which supplies the flushing water to the toilet bowl 2.
