PREFORM CHECKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform checking device not requiring the lifting of a suction head to attract a preform, by lifting holding pockets that hold the preform. SOLUTION: This preform checking device is furnished with a main rotor 20 to revolve while autorotating the suction head 25 by vacuum-adsorbing a mouth part 1a of the preform 1 by the suction head 25; the main rotor 20 is furnished with a plurality of the holding pockets 24 having supporting parts 24a to support a collar 1d of the preform 1 and free to move in the vertical direction and the suction head 25 provided above concentrically with the holding pockets 24 and to make contact with the mouth part 1a of the reform 1 and; this preform checking device is devised to attract the preform 1 by the suction head 25 while supporting the collar 1d of the preform 1 by the holding pockets 24 by raising the preform 1 by supporting the collar 1d of the preform 1 by the holding pockets 24 and making the mouth part 1a of the preform 1 contact with the suction head 25.
