PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building panel material which suppresses the expansion and contraction of a medium-density woody fiberboard to prevent the bulging of a joint and the formation of a gap, has good workability and ensures the strength of an actually processed part to prevent cracking or the like to keep building quality. SOLUTION: The long medium density woody fiberboard 11 having an upper surface extension part 11a provided on one end side in its width direction and having an undersurface extension part 11b provided on the other end side is integrally fixed on the upper surface of a long plaster board 12 which has a rectangular cross section slightly narrower than the width of the medium density woody fiberboard 11 and has almost the same length as that of the medium density woody fiberboard 11 so as to form not only a recessed actually processed part 15 with respect to the upper surface of the plaster board 12 by retracting the upper surface extension part 11a from one end part in the width direction of the plaster board 12 but also the recessed actually processed part 16 fitted in the recessed actually processed part 15 by protruding the undersurface extension part 11b from the other end part in the width direction of the plaster board 12 and so as to be shifted in its width direction.
