The invention relates to a pressure cooker device (1) with a fitting lid, comprising at least : one pan (2) and a lid (3) designed to fit in the pan (2) with a simple movement between at least a closed position in which said lid forms an essentially sealed cooking chamber with the pan (2) and an open position in which communication of the interior of the chamber with the exterior is possible, a control means (5) for moving the lid (3) between the open and closed positions thereof, the lid (3) being suspended on the control means (5) in a connecting zone (P), said device (1) being characterised in that the connecting zone (P) may move relative to the control means (5).
