The box has an attaching device for electric connection of a connection cable, and a connecting device (8) for electric contacting of a connecting line of a photovoltaic module with the attaching device. The attaching device is formed as a contact bar, and the connecting device is formed as a spring clamp, where the contact bar is inserted and clamped in the spring clamp. A base (9) is provided at a fastening side of the junction box, and has a passage opening (10) for the connecting line of the module, where the spring clamp is provided above the passage opening.
