[PROBLEMS] To provide a refleciton screen for a projector, which is of such a type that the utilization efficiency of light is enhanced by diffusing light only in a horizontal direciton while suppressing diffusion in a vertical direction, and does not use any stretching technique, is free from glare, and can easily provide a necessary directional diffusion effect. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A reflection screen for a projector characterized by comprising a directional diffusion layer including a directional diffusion element, the directional diffusion element comprising a transparent resin matrix and an inorganic acicular filler, with a refractive index different from that of the transparent resin matrix, dispersed in the state of being aligned in a given direction within the transparent resin matrix.
