<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control imaging conditions of automatic exposure and flash light emission with a specific object as a reference in an imaging apparatus including a consecutive photographing function such as a digital camera or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Through-image data captured by an imaging means 58 are displayed on a display means 18, a specific object in the through-image data is detected by a specific object detecting means 66, and imaging conditions including control of flash light emission in main imaging are determined for each specific object by an imaging condition control section 79.
