PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively install a capacitor discharge igniter CDI in an automobile using a gasoline internal combustion engine with an electronically controlled engine control unit ECU. SOLUTION: By connecting a dummy coil to the engine control unit ECU instead of an ignition coil, even if high voltage of the capacitor discharge igniter CDI is supplied to the ignition coil, the engine control unit ECU is not influenced, and discharge can be performed from the synchronized capacitor discharge igniter CDI by acquiring an ignition signal via a circuit connected to the dummy coil.
