PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for generating a sufficient negative pressure in a cap inner space by improving an adhesion property of a cap abutting part on a fluid injection head. SOLUTION: The fluid injection apparatus is provided with: a fluid injection head for injecting a fluid from a nozzle opening of a nozzle; and a cap having a cap opening opened for a fluid injection head, and an annular cap abutting part provided in the circumference of the cap opening.
