PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-cabin lighting system capable of providing a sufficient awakening effect to an occupant. SOLUTION: The lighting system 110 applies the light of the predetermined illuminance necessary for awakening an occupant toward the face of the occupant. A control device 120 turns on the lighting system 110 in a predetermined time zone necessary for awakening the occupant. The occupant can be awakened thereby in the time zone in which the occupant is expected to feel sleepy.
