PRINTING COLORIMETRY CONTROLLER AND COLORIMETRY CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult to measure colors at a position that a user optionally specifies in an image using a printer with a colorimetry section. SOLUTION: A printing colorimetry controller includes: a reception means of receiving specification of a colorimetry position in a predetermined image; a printing control means of printing an image on a printing medium on the basis of image data representing the predetermined image; a determining means of determining the position when the colorimetry section measures colors of the predetermined image printed on the printing medium on the basis of the specification; a conveying means of conveying the printed medium having been printed on the basis of the determined position, and a colorimetry control means of acquiring colorimetric values at the colorimetry position associated with the specification by making the colorimetry section measures colors on the basis of the determined position.
