PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus in which a user can clearly recognize the function of an operating button for each function. SOLUTION: This electronic apparatus comprises the operating button having an attached electronic paper and is operated at any mode of a plurality of modes occasionally. The electronic apparatus comprises a means for writing information for displaying the function allocated to each operating button at the mode after shift into the electronic paper, corresponding to the operating button, when a certain mode shifts to another certain mode; and a means for writing information for displaying which mode has been operated immediately prior to the electronic apparatus shifting to a suspended mode into the electronic paper, when shifting to the suspended mode.
