PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for an electrooptical device that reduces the space of an arrangement place for inspection terminals and mount terminals, and facilitates inspecting operation. SOLUTION: The substrate for the electrooptical device has the mount terminals for connecting electronic components to ends of a plurality of wiring lines wired on a substrate and the inspection terminals for inspecting the wiring state on the substrate. Wiring end parts SW1to SW5are extended by predetermined length and a conductive layer is provided on extended conductive extension portions with an insulating layer interposed; and the conductive layer is electrically connected to the wiring ends through contact holes CH penetrating the insulating layer, wherein part of the conductive layer is formed at the inspection terminals T1to T4, and the other part is formed on the mount terminals B1to B5.
