PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit bearing having a structure easy to manage gap size of an encoder and sensor in a detection part, in a state of the hub unit bearing and capable of inspecting a rotating speed signal, at the same time. SOLUTION: In the hub unit bearing, a rotating speed detector is provided between axial directions of a hub flange and a mounting flange. The rotating speed detector includes a holding member mounted on a hub bolt on the side of a vehicle center side plane part of the hub flange, the encoder mounted on the holding member, and the sensor opposite to the axial direction in a prescribed gap with the encoder by being mounted on an outer ring.
