PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene foamed sheet having brightness of an advanced feeling and a good pearl tone, and to provide a method for manufacturing the polypropylene foamed sheet having brightness of the good pearl tone at a low cost and stably in one-step process such as extrusion. SOLUTION: This polypropylene foamed sheet having brightness of the good pearl tone is manufactured by extruding a resin composition containing a blowing nucleating agent, after injecting an inorganic gas, from a die of an extruder and foaming it. The resin composition comprises the blowing nucleating agent of 2-5 pts.wt. based on a resin mixture of 100 pts.wt. comprising an ethylene-propylene block copolymer in an amount of 20-80 wt.% that has an ethylene content of 5-20 wt.%, a melt flow rate of 0.1-10 g/10 min and a melt tension of 15-25 g at 190°C, and an ethylene-propylene block copolymer that has the ethylene content of 5-20 wt.% and the melt flow rate of 5-20 g/10 min, and/or an ethylene-propylene random copolymer in an amount of 20-80 wt.%. The polypropylene foamed sheet has a center line mean roughness of the sheet surface of 0.5-2.0μm based on JIS B0601 and a maximum height of 5-25μm based on JIS B0601. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
