PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To punch a silicone resin sheet, while sufficiently preventing generation of micro cracks in a cutting face and lowering of bending strength by the generation. SOLUTION: This method relates to punching of the silicone resin sheet 12 formed from a silicone resin composition. Copes 1 and 2 provided with cutting blades 3 disposed in a shape to be cut toward a lower side and elastic materials 4 laid to be higher than the inside and outside along the inside and outside are arranged. Drags 11 and 12 provided with cutting blades 13 disposed in a shape to be cut toward an upper side to be opposed to the cutting blades 3 of the copes 1 and 2 under the copes 1 and 2, and elastic materials 14 laid to be higher than the inside and outside along the inside and outside are arranged. The silicone resin sheet 21 is transferred and positioned between the copes 1 and 2 and the drags 11 and 12. The copes 1 and 2 and/or the drags 11 and 12 are pressed in an approaching direction of the both copes and drags so that a cutting edge of each of the cutting blades 3 may be driven into the silicone resin sheet 21 from each of the upper face and lower face.
