A computer and a control method thereof are provided to transfer a message to a user through the other speaker when the message is not informed to a user through a main speaker by including a plurality of speakers. A sound processor(110) processes an audio signal, and first and second speakers(120,130) output sound based on the processed audio signal. A controller(140) enables the second speaker to output the sound when a volume level of the sound output through the first speaker is lower than a predetermined volume level. A volume level checker(150) checks the volume level of the sound output through the first speaker. The second speaker includes a speaker installed to the inside of a computer. The sound signal includes a bell signal of a VoIP(Voice of Internet Protocol) phone.
