PURPOSE:To prevent the vibration of a step motor in a simple structure by holding magnetic fluid between a rotor and a stator. CONSTITUTION:A nonmagnetic ring 10 is provided at the end of a stator 1, and a nonmagnetic ring 11 is also provided at the end of a rotor 3. The ring 11 rotates together with the rotor 3. In other words, the rings 10, 11 form a cylindrical gap 12. Magnetic fluid is held in the gap 12. The fluid is liquid ferromagnetic material in which ultrafine ferromagnetic particles are uniformly and stably dispersed in a solvent. Since the intensity of a magnetic flux has an inclination in the gap 12, the fluid held between teeth 2 and 4 is not immersed to the other. |
