PURPOSE:To attain transcription to transfer paper at a correct attitude without inflicting any damage to an original even if the original is fed slantingly by correcting a transfer paper attitude correcting means which corrects the attitude of the transfer paper corresponding to the deviation of the original which is detected by an original deviation detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A deviation detecting circuit 12 calculates the deviation (direction and extent of inclination) of the original 8 from an original size signal S5 from an original setter 11 and original detection signals S1 and S2, and S3 and S4 from original detectors 9a and 9b, and 10a and 10b and inputs an original deviation signal S6 to an oscillation control circuit 13. The oscillation control circuit 13 sends an oscillation signal S7 to an oscillating device 22 corresponding to the original deviation signal S6 to control attitude correcting rollers 19a and 19b, and corrects the attitude of the transfer paper 18 to a transfer drum 14 to transfer an original image to the transfer paper 18 at the correct attitude. Consequently, no forcible force for deviation correction operates on the original 8, so a breaking accident never occurs to the original.
