<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form one image by combining images of individual divided regions. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: an image read-portion 2 to read a region including a read-region 22a, corresponding to the A4 size and an additional read-region 22b; and when reading a manuscript having the A3 size larger than the A4 size, read the manuscript by first and second read-operations; an image storing portion 3, which temporarily stores image data read by the first second read operations; an image processing portion 4 for forming one piece of image data from the image data read by the first and second read operations; and a printing portion 5 which performs printing, based on the image data formed by the image processing portion 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
